We use the Letters & Sounds document to support the children’s learning and understanding.
Makaton Signing
We use Makaton to sign throughout the daily routine. As the children grow in confidence and ability; we extend our knowledge of Makaton signing. Below is a list of events and commands we sign for during the course of the terms:-
- Good morning
- Days of the week
- ‘Thank you Song’ at snack time
- Milk / water
- Please and Thank you
