Sessions
Sessions are packed full of fun, inspiring activities and experiences. Children’s interests are valued and used by practitioners to plan learning opportunities.
We offer a free flow environment enabling children to wonder from inside to out and provide wet weather suits and wellington boots.
High levels of staff and qualifications enable children’s development to be supported through their interests. Children in our care love learning as it’s fun and interesting!
Opening Times
The Nursery year consists of 6 terms (Autumn 1+2, Spring 3+4 and Summer 5+6) totaling 38 weeks. The dates generally coincide with those in local Primary Schools, where possible.
The dates of each term are displayed on the Nursery Boards and on the website.
There are 5 morning sessions per week from 08:55 to 12:10hrs, Monday to Friday inclusive.
There are 5 afternoon sessions per week from 13:00 to 15:30hrs.
Lunch clubs that run from 12:00 – 12:50
All day sessions that run from 08:55 – 15:30 daily!
For the first 4 weeks we run shorter settling in sessions which gradually increase. Generally, the sessions for children starting in September are Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
The sessions for children starting in January are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. These younger children usually attend 2 afternoon sessions a week, with a maximum of 16 children in the group.
We run action packed Activity days during many inset days and at the start of the summer holidays.
